Day 5 : Jaipur – Agra Morning drive to Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri (Old Deserted town of Mughal Dynasty) – Jama Masjid, The Buland Darwaza, Palace of Jodha Bai, Birbal Bhawan & Panch Mahal. On arrival check into hotel. Afternoon visit Red Fort – a visit to the fort in ‘Agra’ is must since so many of the events which lead to the construction of the Taj took place here, Itmad-ud-Daula’s Tomb – The tomb is of particular interest since many of its design Elephants overshadow the Taj. Day 6 : Agra – Khajuraho Morning visit Taj Mahal – a poem written in white marble, the most extravagant monument ever built for love, followed by transfer to Airport to catch flight to Khajuraho, on arrival transfer to hotel. Afternoon city tour of Eastern / Western group of Temples. Overnight at hotel. Day 7 : Khajuraho - Varanasi Today tansfer to Airport to catch flight to Varanasi. On arrival in Varanasi transfer to hotel. In the afternoon take an excursion to Sarnath. Overnight at hotel. Day 8 : Varanasi Varanasi’s principle attraction is the string of bathing ghats which line the western ghats of River Ganges, enjoy boat ride at dawn. After breakfast visit the Ghats, Tulsi Manas Temple, Alamgir Temple, Bharat Mata Temple . Later free to roam about. Overnight at hotel. Day 9 : Varanasi – Shivpatinagar Morning drive to Shivpatinagar enroute visiting Kushinagar : a small town amidst a dense forest, famous as this was the place where Buddha passed into Parinirvana (went for his heavenly abode). Arrive into the charming & colonial estate and check in into hotel. Afternoon visit Kapilvastu - the place where Buddha spent his childhood and youth. Day 10 : Shivpatinagar - Chitwan Morning free to relax, in the afternoon drive to Chitwan enroute visiting Lumbini - The birthplace of Buddha. Arrive and check in into the Nature Resort.
